I'm a civil engineer from UCL (AI & Math, 2005) who became a serial technical founder. I've been building since 1996, going from developer to architect to CTO, shipping software across banking, government, customs, and a string of startups.
Today I co-own and build a portfolio of Belgian tech: Finrack (fintech), data.be (official company data), lex.be (legal search), and Backspace (a builders' studio). I sit on the board of FinTech Belgium. My sweet spot is where deep engineering meets a real business problem: data infrastructure, fintech rails, and developer tooling.
I never stopped writing code, and I still love it. On the side I ship open source: hscli and pdcli, CLIs that make SaaS APIs scriptable from the shell, CI, and the new wave of AI agents. Fast, honest tools that get out of your way.
